	Virginia Rinks Find the desired rink in the list below for directions and a map if needed. Ashburn Ice House 21595 Smiths Switch Road Ashburn, VA 20147 703-858-0300 Directions From the Beltway (I-495): take the Dulles Toll Road to Route 28 North. Proceed North 2.8 miles. Take a left on Route 625 (Waxpool Road). Proceed exactly 2 miles to a right on Route 607 (Smiths Switch Road). The Ashburn Ice House is on your left. From Leesburg: East on Route 7. Make a right on Route 641 (Ashburn Road). Proceed to Farmwell Road, turn left. Proceed 1.3 miles on Farmwell Road to Route 607 (Smiths Switch Road). Turn left. The Ashburn Ice House is on your left. (Map) Facilities There are two ice surfaces. The referees’ dressing room is located in the first locker room area near the west rink, follow the signs. The locker room has a sink, toilet and shower. Get the key from the rink staff at the front desk. The player benches are located across the ice from the scorer’s table. The penalty boxes on either side of the scorer’s table can only be accessed from the ice surface. Make sure the penalty box attendants are in place before the start of play. (Ballston) Kettler Capitals Iceplex Ballston Common Mall 4238 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA 22203 Directions From the Beltway (I-495): Take I-66 East. Take exit #71 (VA Rte. 237) onto N Fairfax Dr. toward Glebe Rd. Turn right on N Glebe Rd. (VA Rte. 120). Enter the Ballston Mall parking lot from Glebe Road.  This will allow you to go up the spiral ramp to the top of the parking garage right to the rink. (Map) Facilities The rink has two ice surfaces named Public and Capitals. The Referee Room is located between the two rinks on the Public Rink side. Get the Mgr. On Duty to unlock the Ref room as they only have one key. Future plans will include multiple keys for the Ref Room. Showers are available in the Ref Room. Fairfax Ice Arena 3779 Pickett Rd. Fairfax, VA 703-323-1131 Directions From I-66 West: Take the Nutley Street exit south. Make a right on Route 29 (Lee Hwy.). Make a left on Blake Lane at the IHOP. Blake Lane turns into Pickett Road when it crosses Route 50 (Arlington Blvd.) at the next light. Cross Arlington Blvd and the rink is on your left in 1.5 mi. From I-66 East: Take the Route 123 exit south towards Fairfax. As soon as you exit, move to the left and turn left on Route 29/50. Stay on Route 50 through the Fairfax traffic circle and take the next right on Pickett Road. Turn right on Pickett Road and the rink is on your left in 1.5 miles. (Map) Facilities The rink has one ice surface. The officials dress in the first aid room between the players locker rooms. The first aid room has a cypher lock. Get the combination from the rink or your partner. There are showers in the player’s locker rooms. Fredericksburg Ice Park 1400 Central Park Blvd. Fredericksburg, VA 22401 (540) 786-0809 Directions From Route 3 West of Fredericksburg: Left turn onto Central Park Blvd. Second light Trade St., make a left hand turn into the parking lot of the Ice Park. From Route 3 East of Fredericksburg: Right turn onto Carl D Silver Parkway Second light Trade St., make a left hand turn. Go though the next light to enter the parking lot of the Ice Park. North Bound on Highway 95: Exit 130 Culpepper/Fredericksburg exit. Right turn onto Carl D Silver Parkway Second light Trade St., make a left hand turn. Go though the next light to enter the parking lot of the Ice Park. South Bound on Highway 95: Exit 130 Culpepper/Fredericksburg exit. Right turn onto Carl D Silver Parkway Second light Trade St., make a left hand turn. Go though the next light to enter the parking lot of the Ice Park. (Map) Facilities The rink has one ice surface. Need help on location of the referee locker room. Mount Vernon Rec. Center 2017 Belle View Blvd. Alexandria, VA 703-768-3224 Directions From the Capitol Beltway, exit onto Route 1 South towards Fort Belvoir. Stay in the right hand lane to the exit for Fort Hunt Road (this is a jug handle intersection that will allow you to turn left onto Fort Hunt Road). Follow Fort Hunt Road approximately 2 miles to intersection at Belle View Boulevard. Turn right onto Belle View Blvd. The sign "Mount Vernon Recreational Center" and the driveway to the rink is on your left. (Map) Facilities The rink has one ice surface. The referees dress in a small room behind the skate rental counter. The players usually use the same exit to and from the locker rooms. SkateQuest-Prince William 5180 Dale Blvd. Woodbridge, VA 22193 703-730-8423 Directions From I-95 South, take the Dale City exit, Route 156. Stay left on the exit ramp to continue to Dale Boulevard. The rink is approximately 6.5 miles down Dale Boulevard on the right. (Map) Facilities Prince William has two ice surfaces, an Olympic rink and an NHL rink. Referees dress in a utility room next to the player’s locker rooms. The rink staff will open the door for you. SkateQuest-Reston 1800 Michael Faraday Ct. Reston, VA 703-709-1010 Directions From the Beltway (I-495), take the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) west to the Wiehle Avenue exit. After the toll booth at the top of the ramp, turn right onto Wiehle Avenue. Turn right at the second light on Sunset Hills Road. Proceed approximately 1/10 mile and take a left onto Michael Faraday Drive. The rink is on your right. (Map) Facilities There are two ice surfaces; an Olympic sized rink on the lower level and an NHL rink on the upper level. The rink is currently under renovation. Locker room and referee room arrangements change as construction progresses. On the Olympic rink the players must use the same exit to reach the locker rooms. This is usually true for the NHL rink as well.
