Policy for the Piney Orchard Adult League

Since the league has had problems with team rosters, illegal players, and collecting registration forms from players, the league is going to an identification sticker for each player in the league. All players must have a Piney Orchard issued team sticker on their helmets OR THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY. The stickers will be given to the team captains for only the players that have handed in their registration form and signed a waiver of liability provided by the league. All levels have team stickers on their helmets. The sticker have the team, level, and player's number on it. Should a captain request a check and the player does not have the sticker he is to be removed from the ice.

All levels are RED LINE icing. If it's icing call it.

If BEFORE the end of warm-up, the teams do not have enough players to play the game, and the captains agree to play with players from one team being added to the short team, they will advise the scorekeeper who will in turn inform the officials. The game will then be played. This must all take place BEFORE OR RIGHT AT THE END OF WARM-UPS.

New League policy:

Any player that has been remove from the game by the officials will go immediately to their respected locker room and change and leave the rink. No player will be allowed to stand in the area of where the players leave the ice or sit in the stands after receiving a Game Misconduct of any kind. Failure to abide by this new rule will result in a player being suspended indefinitely.

The Home Team will enter and exit the ice surface at the door near the Snack Bar area.

The Visiting Team will enter and exit the ice surface at the door near the Zamboni area.
