May Meeting, Board Elections

A large group of members - more than 40 active members - participated in the May General Membership Meeting in Laurel at which an order of business was the annual election to fill Board of Director positions.

Chris Dietz was re-elected President of the organization.

"Thank you for your support," said Dietz afterwards. He pointed out that our members provide outstanding service to our clients.

Josh Weikers and Greg Mumma faced off for Vice President of Management, with Weikers winning the vote.

Dan McKenzie, formerly Director of Training and Evaluation, faced off against Tim Fitzgerald for the Vice President of Operations seat formerly held by Keith Raygor. McKenzie won successful in his bid.

Trish Foote was re-elected Treasurer by acclimation, as was Bob Oliver as Secretary.

Josh Wesley joins the Board as Director Evaluation and Training, by acclimation, while Director of Information Technology Mark Canter retained that position by acclimation.

Director of Scheduling Operations Michael Yates and Director of Standards Kurt Klausner retained their positions by acclimation.

President Dietz thanked all who participated in the elections, either by running for a seat or by voting, for their dedication to SHOA. He also thanked outgoing Board member Keith Raygor for his work on the Board.

The newly elected Board begins its term June 1.
