This is a reminder that the Annual Election Meeting is scheduled to be held on Thursday 30 July 2020 starting at 7:00pm using the GoToMeeting application.

The SHOA By-Laws stipulate that in order to be eligible to vote you must be an Active member by midnight on the eve of the Annual Election Meeting. There are two ways in which a member is considered Active:
1) Worked game assignments for SHOA for a minimum of one year, and worked 100 SHOA assignments in the current fiscal year, and attended 1 general membership meeting excluding the Annual Election Meeting, OR,
2) Worked game assignments for SHOA for one year, attended 2 meetings excluding the Annual Election Meeting and worked 25 or more SHOA assignments.
The SHOA By-Laws also have the following provision:
Members who have an officiating assignment which conflicts with attendance at a membership meeting, shall receive credit for an excused absence, provided that there shall be no more than one (1) excused absence credited per fiscal year.
SHOA held General Membership Meetings on 24 September 2019, 22 October 2019, 19 November 2019, 17 December 2019, 21 January 2020 and 18 February 2020.
